Hi guys,
I bought a 1972 Vespa 400 MPV last year. It came from France and I'm currently undergoing a light restoration.
Apparently it ran however I've yet to get to that part yet.
Although I've owned Vespas in the past I've never owned an Ape.
So my questions are this.
Is it 6v or 12v as the battery space is large and it has the larger connections like a 12v car ?
What is the best fuel and does it require mixing with oil ?
How and where do i check the oil ?
What size is the engine on this model ?
What is the start up procedures as there are several levers in the cab which i don't understand. I figure 2 must be for the heating ?
As you can see I'm a complete novice so this info would be greatly appreciated.
